Good relationships make you happier, healthier, and wealthier.

Harvard has been saying so for 85 years. BuckFifty gets time on the calendar with the people you should be staying in front of. You pick the people. It does the chasing, over text.

Free during early access. iPhone for now. The people on your list need nothing but a phone that gets texts.

What a week with BuckFifty looks like.

The clearest finding is about relationships.

The Harvard Study of Adult Development began in 1938 and has followed 724 men, and later their families, for more than 85 years. Across all of it, the people who kept warm relationships stayed healthier, lived longer, and earned more over their careers.

Good relationships keep us happier and healthier. Period.

Keep up with your network, not just their feed.

Nobody decides to lose touch. Work circles run on proximity, so you change jobs and the colleagues, the customers, and the people you learned the most from start to drift. Reminder apps can tell you who you are neglecting. They cannot get the coffee scheduled.

So BuckFifty asks you to choose. Your Buck Fifty is the small, named group of people you have decided to stay in front of, each with a cadence you can actually keep. A short list is the point. The app shows you what your list adds up to in hours a week before you commit.

What we do on your behalf.

  1. You give each person a heads-up, from you.

Before anything else happens, each person on your list gets a short text from your own phone, in your own words. The app drafts it. You send it.

Hey Anish, I'm being more intentional about keeping up with a small group of people, and you're one of them. I use an app called BuckFifty to help me follow through. You may get a text from it about setting up a time. Wanted you to hear it from me first.

  2. You open the time.

A Thursday coffee. A Sunday call. Any recurring window you would rather fill than lose.

  3. We text you a plan.

When a window comes up, we pick whoever you are most overdue to see and text you the plan. Nothing goes out until you say yes.

  4. We handle the rest.

The invite, the reminders, and the back and forth, all over text. The other person never downloads anything. If they cannot make it, we move to the next person in line. Afterward, tell us how it went and it shapes who comes up next.

What we never do.

  • We never contact anyone who has not heard from you.

The heads-up comes first, from your phone. It is enforced in the code. There is no switch to turn it off.

  • We never reach out before you say yes.

Every plan comes to you first. You reply, then we send the invite and handle the follow-ups on that plan.

  • We never upload your address book.

Your contacts stay on your phone. Only the people you add ever leave it.

Get on the list.

We are onboarding a small group at a time. Leave your name and number and we will text you when your spot opens. One text from us, then nothing until it is your turn.

We use your number to text you about your spot and for nothing else.
